You Made 2021 A Year To Remember

Thank you for a great comeback

2021 wasn't the year we had originally planned, but together we came back stronger, and what a year it's been!  

 Incredible lengths have been taken by so many to ensure this year's events could go ahead and we are so grateful to each and every one of you helped to make our return so special. Whatever your role you should be incredibly proud of what you have managed to achieve. 

Over the course of 2021, thousands of you joined us in York, Leeds, Sheffield, Middlesbrough, Lincoln, Derby, and Kings Lynn. All with different goals and reasons for taking part, there were smiles, cheers, PBs smashed, and a phenomenal sum of money raised for incredible causes. 

To you the participants, spectators, eventeers, sponsors, partner organisations, and charities, THANK YOU.  

None of this would have been possible without everyone playing their part, so we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support. Our events simply wouldn't be the success they are without this incredible community.  

Next year will mark the 20th Anniversary of the Jane Tomlinson Appeal and the 15th Anniversary of the Leeds 10K. Back in 2002 Jane could never have imagined that thanks to you all, we would have been able to collectively come together and raise such a staggering amount of money for those in need. 

Jane's vision of removing barriers to participation and creating a vehicle for fundraising lives on thanks to you and for that we are truly grateful. For what has been such a challenging time for all, we are so pleased that through our events, we have been able to continue the lasting legacy.
