Fun Runs are back for 2022

Following a two-year hiatus, we are excited to announce that our Fun Run series is BACK for 2022 and now open for entries.

Sponsored by Arena Group, we are delighted to announce that these inclusive, popular and successful family events will be returning to a number of cities across the UK in 2022. Events returning to the calendar include:  

• Sheffield (Sunday 27th March)
• Leeds (Sunday 8th May) 
• Bury (Sunday 18th September) 
• York (Sunday 7th August) 

All Fun Run events are entirely inclusive and open to adults and children of all abilities. Runs vary in distance from 1.3km to 2.4km, providing an opportunity for participants to be cheered on by an electric crowd of spectators, while tackling a shorter distance. Each participant will also receive a goody bag and medal to celebrate their achievement. 

The Fun Runs are designed to bring together runners of all ages and abilities to raise money for local charities.

We are encouraging children of all backgrounds and abilities to take part in the Fun Runs, including those with disabilities and any other special considerations. This year, we are looking to increase participation by offering 150 free entries for each Fun Run to local schools. Schools should email us at info@runforall.com to redeem their free entries, with a maximum 10 entries available per school.

We are also delighted to welcome back Arena Group as the title sponsor of this year’s Fun Runs. The workplace tech company has been a title sponsor since 2010, with the sponsorship forming a vital part of Arena Group’s wider aims to support key community-based initiatives. 

As well as the Arena Group Fun Runs, we are also excited to be bringing the Recipharm Mini GEAR back to Kings Lynn on Sunday 1^st May. Taking place on the same day as the popular GEAR 10K, this 1.8km run for children aged 6+ is not to be missed.

Entries to the events start from £4. Children under 9 must be accompanied around the course by an adult.
