Burnley 10K Postponed to 2022

The following message was sent to participants in the 2020 Burnley 10K on the 27th April 2021.

Dear Entrants,

Thank you for your patience and continued support over the past year. We appreciate that due to COVID-19 there has been a number of alterations to events including the Burnley 10K that have been outside of our control, so we thank you for your understanding.

Whilst the easing of lockdown slowly continues and its hoped events will be able to return later this year, we unfortunately write to you today to advise that the Burnley 10K has been postponed to 2022.

Over the past year, our team have worked closely with Burnley Council  to look at options for staging the 10K. 

However, due to the nature of the course, logistical challenges around the event and the UK Government still to advise later this year if social distancing restrictions will remain in some capacity, the decision to postpone to 2022 will ensure you still receive a high quality event day experience without restrictions. 

We appreciate that there will be much disappoint today due to this postponement and us being unable to confirm a new date in 2022 at this time. However, we can assure you we will have an update for you later this summer once all route partners have been consulted and a date agreed. In the meantime, we hope you can focus on the start line and remember the incredible difference your participation can make to so many charities

We can confirm that all entries will automatically be moved to 2022, however, if you wish to transfer to another Run For All event in 2021 please contact our team at info@runforall.com and we can arrange this for you. To view our events calendar, please click here. Alternatively your entry will remain active for the Burnley 10K. 

We really hope we will see you all on the start line next year, but in the meantime, we would ask you to stay safe, stay well and keep active.
