The Hull Running Festival Corporate Challenge has a brand new date – Sunday 19th April 2020.
Back by popular demand, the Corporate Challenge that incorporates both the Hull 10K and Hull Half Marathon distances, will again be under the reigns of not-for-profit organization Run For All – with MKM continuing their support and endorsing the challenge for a second year.
The MKM Corporate Challenge is a fantastic feature of the Hull Running Festival and witnesses companies’ size up against one another as they compete to be crowned as the fastest firm in the city! It’s a race within a race with awards available to the winning team (calculated by the fastest 3 times recorded in each team), the fastest male and the fastest female.
SGS Company, AB Graphics, Alan Wood & Partners, GF Smith and PDR Construction have already locked in their places ready to line up alongside named sponsors MKM for this year’s event.
So, pick your team, pick your distance and partake in what will be another fantastic festival for fundraisers and fun-runners alike!
Mark Smith, Finance Director for said: “The Hull Running Festival is a huge date for the region’s calendar. Whether partaking for the joy of running, to promote awareness for a company or for a chosen charity, the event is a fantastic opportunity for all and we are proud to sponsor and be involved in such a spectacle – we are looking forward to race-day”.
Henry Myers, Corporate Sales Executive at Run For All said, “The corporate challenge is a fantastic feature that sees companies from around the region go head to head. It’s a great opportunity to team build, fund raise and inject some competitive rivalry between colleagues and other companies. MKM share our enthusiasm to grow the event and we’re greatly thankful for their continued support”.
Helen Padgett-Smith, Project Manager at SGS said: “I enjoy taking part in the Hull 10k as there is a comradery amongst all the corporate runners, with people sharing tips and comparing predicted finishing times. This year I am running with a friend as this will be her first 10k and I cannot wait for her to feel the elation when she crosses the finish line”.
Rich Renton, Senior Engineer at Alan Woods & Partners said: “This year will be the fourth year we have taken part in the Hull 10k Corporate Challenge. We have grown from just 5 team members in our first year to 14 this year. The course is enjoyable to run and the local crowds that line the route are always welcoming and encouraging. The event is always well organised and a great overall experience.
Not just content with challenging ourselves physically, we are also taking on the challenge of raising money for charity. We are working with the YMCA and we are happy to support the work that they do helping vulnerable people in the Humber region. Alan Wood & Partners Just Giving”.
