Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All adds the McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K and Fun Run to its growing portfolio for 2025

Previously managed wholly by the club, Run For All will now take on the responsibility of delivering the event to complement and enhance its current event offering, with McCain Foods continuing to act as main sponsor. 

Bringing together two organisations with a shared commitment to provide high-quality events and an aim to not just benefit the people local to Scarborough town but also the wider running community, the McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K will return to the town on 19th October 2025, with highly anticipated entries opening 1st June 2025 at 7am – the same date and time as previous years. Starting and finishing at Scarborough Spa, 2025 event day logistics and operations will remain the same as previous years, providing participants with a familiar and well received experience along with familiar faces of the club volunteers who play an essential part of delivery. 

Expecting thousands of runners once again, long term partners McCain Foods who have supported for the last 15 years will continue to be the title sponsor of the action-packed weekend, comprising of the 10K and Fun Run, alongside the 5K which saw its inaugural launch in 2024.  

Pledging to maintain the sustainable fundamentals of the previous events that resonate with many runners, participants will continue to receive a slate medal and have a sponsored tree planted in the UK, in partnership with McCain Foods and Treesnottees. 

With the ethos of delivering events accessible to all, Run For All and Scarborough Athletic encourages entrants of all abilities and ages to walk, jog or run, promoting inclusivity regardless of physical ability.  

Providing a fundraising vehicle for charities is a primary objective of every Run For All event, ensuring that the monies raised stay local and support the causes that need it the most. Combined with community at the core, participants are encouraged to take part and raise money for their chosen cause or one of the event’s partner charities, including The Rainbow Centre.
