Leeds Hospitals Charity runners raise over £1m for Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal

We’d like to say a BIG thanks to the thousands of runners who took part in the first-ever Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon last May, raising over £1 million was raised for our appeal to build the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease!

Since then, thanks to support from the people of Leeds, Yorkshire and beyond, we have raised over £4.6 million to help make Rob’s dream of a specialist centre in Leeds a reality.

We’re so excited for the return of the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon in May 2024!

Our new Rob Burrow Centre for MND 

In Summer 2023, we appointed Corstorphine & Wright as the architects to build the centre and are currently holding engagement sessions with patients, staff, and other key stakeholders.

We are documenting the progress of the build through a new blog we have launched in collaboration with Leeds Teaching Hospitals and the architects, following the next steps of the project and sharing insights as we move forward.
