The following message was sent to participants in the 2020 Nottingham 10K on the 14th April 2021
Dear Entrants,
Thank you for your patience and continued support over the past year. We appreciate that due to COVID-19 there has been a number of alterations to the Nottingham 10K that have been outside of our control, so we thank you for your understanding.
Whilst the easing of lockdown slowly continues and its hoped events will be able to return later this year, we unfortunately write to you today to advise that the Nottingham 10K has been postponed to Sunday 22nd May 2022.
Over the past year our team have worked closely with the University of Nottingham and the City Council to look at all options for staging the 10K.
Social distancing restrictions are likely to remain in some capacity throughout the year across the campus and with the route utilising many of the sites paths and road networks, the decision to postpone to 2022 will ensure you still receive a high quality event day experience without restrictions.
We appreciate that there will be much disappoint today due to this postponement but we hope you can focus on the start line and remember the incredible difference your participation can make to so many charities.
We can confirm that all entries have automatically been moved to the May date so please mark Sunday 22nd May 2022 in your diary.
We really hope we will see you all on the start line next year, but in the meantime, we would ask you to stay safe, stay well and keep active.
Unfortunately, we are not in a position to be able to offer full refunds. This is as per our standard terms and conditions.
On behalf of the Run For All Team can we thank you for your continued support and patience.
