Firstly, we would like to thank you, our incredible community for your continued support and patience over the past few months.
We know you will be eager to hear news regarding our events later this year as you are all busy clocking up the training miles and fundraising for your chosen charity.
Like you, we at Run For All are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and seeking guidance from the UK Government as to the next steps with regards the potential for events to take place later this year.
These events bring so much to our community both in terms of improved physical and mental health as well as vital fundraising for charities across the country. And that, is why it is so important we don’t make a decision to postpone to 2021 too soon.
We can’t make you promises that events will happen this year but what we can promise, is that we will put the safety of you the entrant first.
Below is a list of our latest event postponements and our current events calendar for 2020.
Unfortunately, not all events have been able to be be rescheduled this year despite our best efforts and some events have therefore been postponed to 2021.
All entrants have been emailed directly with updates regarding individual entries for events which have been postponed.

Whilst these dates have been confirmed with all partners we do need to proceed with caution.
Therefore, we will continue to review the situation closely and later this year will write to all entrants once the UK Government have confirmed if events can take place this year, and ask entrants if they wish to run in 2020 or to defer to 2021. We know this will be a personal decision and one we want to enable you to make at the right time.
If you have entered both the Leeds 10K and the Leeds Half marathon in 2020 and the events go ahead this year, we will also write to you to ask you to confirm which event you wish to run in 2020 and wish you would like to defer to 2021, as we did in Sheffield.
Should the UK Government announce events can’t take place this year, then all entries will be moved to postponed events dates in 2021 and all entrants will receive an email from us directly to confirm.
Our New Partnership
We would also like to take this opportunity to announce that we are partnering with Age UK Leeds following the cancellation of the Abbey Dash this year. We hope that by inviting Age UK Leeds to be an official partner charity for both the Leeds Half Marathon and the Leeds 10K that together we can help them raise some of the funds lost due to their recent cancellation.
Once again we’d like to thank you for continuing to support our events. The charities who benefit from these events need you now more than ever. Fundraising at present is down over 70% year on year so if you can support them please do. Whichever charity you choose to support the difference you can make to them right now is immeasurable
At a time like this, pulling together, being united and supporting our community is key. We really hope we will see you all on the start line later this year but in the mean time we would ask you to stay safe, stay well and keep active.
As always, thank you for your continued support and patience.
We Will Be Back
