Ellie’s Fundraiser for CoppaFeel!

At aged just 29, Ellie’s best friend Sadie was diagnosed with an aggressive type of breast cancer. As a best friend, Ellie felt completed to do anything at all possible to help prevent others going through the hellish journey that Ellie was and is still facing.

Ellie is set to take on three big challenges this year and will be fundraising for breast cancer charity, CoppaFeel!

Starting with the City of Lincoln 10K on Sunday 14^th April, Ellie will be running in the brilliant CoppaFeel boob suit, it will then be a half marathon in May while finishing with a mammoth 100Km trek across the Brecon Beacons in June alongside celebs including Giovanna Fletcher. Ellie is aiming to raise as much as she can in support of her friend and the breast cancer community in the UK, but to also raise awareness further surrounding breast cancer and to help end a late diagnosis for all.  

Ellie tells us more about her chosen charity: “Coppa Feel is the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, intending to instill a new healthy behaviour that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to ensure breast cancer is diagnosed early and correctly by getting the nation to check their boobs/chest regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
