Meet Team Transcom Trailblazers, a team of 5, running the 10K in support of the British Heart Foundation.

The lovely team at Transcom are taking part in our Clarion Solicitors Leeds 10k Corporate Challenge on Sunday 23rd June. Here's what they had to say about taking on the race. 

"Team Transcom will be running on behalf of the British Heart Foundation, a charity close to one member of the team. Much of the team have worked together for years and decided to enter the race due to a shared set of experiences of running in their own separate events previously. Amongst events already run are the Rob Burrows marathon (Sam), Great North Run (Chris), Yorkshire Ultra Marathon (Ivan) and his own charity fundraiser (Dan).

We have varying experience and ability when it comes to running, from one end of the scale of running ultra marathons to the other end of somebody struggling to put one foot in front of the other a few years ago due to suffering from arthritis and hadn't really ran before this time last year. We do however have a shared goal to complete this great challenge and also raise some money for a great cause. We want to transfer the great team spirit that we show in the office, out on to the streets of Leeds to make sure that we all make it over the finish line."
