Team Trust House

Staff members from the Trust House in Bury, Alison, Tristan and Katie will be taking part in the Bury BID 10K this Sunday. The group has come together to raise valuable funds for the Trust House based in Bury.

Trust House is a community centre, open to all, offering free support, advice, and guidance to those in need. They want to see significant change in the lives of people in and around Bury. Trust House is a safe place to go for food, company, or help.

They first opened our doors in 2019 and have since gone on to work with over 700 individuals, helping with all sorts of barriers, from food poverty and fuel insecurity to mental health wellbeing.

“This is a cause close to our hearts as we are all involved in the charity and know the difference that can be made.

“The charity is based in Bury and has been operating for 5 years, serving the needs of the community through our free cafe, food pantry, charity shop and drop in. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to be treated with dignity and respect and we have created a safe and non-judgemental place to come, regardless of people's backgrounds and struggles. 

“Three of our team members are running this year, hoping to raise as much money as possible to ensure that we can continue to love and serve our community.”
