Charity run organiser Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All is delighted to announce that two of its most popular team challenges have a new sponsor.
Business communication specialist The Technology Group is taking on the sponsorship of the team challenges at the Leeds and Sheffield Half Marathons.
A popular feature of both half marathons, the challenges are open to groups of friends, family and work colleagues who compete to lift the title of fastest team in the race. Teams must have a minimum of four members, with the average time of the first three home used to calculate the winners.
As well as providing sponsorship for the half marathon team challenges, The Technology Group has entered a six-strong team in the Yorkshire Marathon Corporate Relay on Sunday 20th October in support of the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
David Marsden, the group’s Co-Founder and Acquisitions Director, said: “The Technology Group are honoured to be a sponsor for the Jane Tomlinson appeal. In line with our social responsibility commitment, we aim to make a positive impact on those around us.
“We have proudly donated £11,000 worth of communication services providing the telephone system and support in the head office as their main communications partner for the past 6 years. The TTG team will be looking forward to participating in the Yorkshire Marathon Corporate relay in October.”
Mike Tomlinson, Chief Executive of Run For All, said: “We are enormously grateful to The Technology Group for their sponsorship of the Leeds Half Marathon and Sheffield Half Marathon team challenges. It further cements the already excellent relationship we have with the company.”
Next year’s Sheffield Half Marathon gets Run For All’s 2020 season underway on Sunday 29th March, with the Leeds Half Marathon taking place six weeks later on Sunday 10th May.
