Three marathons in 15 days for Adie

Adie Turford, a postman from Pontefract, is one of our many incredible racers taking part in the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon this May.

Adie ran the marathon last year, raising an incredible £1600 and this year he is back to take it one step further!

This year, he is taking part in THREE marathons in just 15 days, concluding with running for Leeds Hospitals Charity in the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon.

A short while ago, Adie unfortunately suffered an injury which resulted in him having to give up running, something he found 'mentally difficult' however thanks to surgery in 2020 he is now back at it again and ready to run the hill he could only walk last year.
