Event Information

The iconic event within an event is making its way to Leeds - but with a twist.

Our first relay of its kind in Leeds, the event will celebrate the legendary Rob Burrow bringing 77 teams made up of 7 team-mates to complete the full marathon. Whether your team is made up of family, friends, or colleagues, this is a great opportunity to come together and RUN FOR ROB.

Each team-mate will run a set distance before passing the 'metaphorical rugby ball' to the next team-mate, aiming to cross the finish line in the quickest combined the time and be crowned champions.

If you've always wanted to run a marathon but weren't sure you could complete the distance alone, then this might be the answer. Accessible to all, distances within the relay vary, making the run both fun and a great way to fundraise.

Secure your team before it's too late as there are only 77 teams available.

How to register your Relay Team

How to register your Relay Team

Once you have purchased your Relay Team, the official team captain will need to add your relay team-mates, to do this:

  • Create your team portal using the link in your confirmation email.
  • Our team will add the places onto your portal and confirm when this has been done so you can start adding on your team members ready for the event.
  • Using the 'Pre-Paid' button, send your team members a link each to activate their place.
  • If the Team Captain is running in the event they will also need to send themselves an invite to register.

Please note, it is the responsibility of the team captain to ensure all of the team members are registered ahead of event day, including making sure each runner is prepared with their race t-shirt and runner number. These will be posted to the team captain to the address provided upon registration.
