All you need to know
At the Start and Finish
Please note that the start line for both events is located outside the Parkinson Steps, at the University of Leeds.
The Leeds Junior race starts at 09:45, followed by the Mini race at 09:48.
Once crossing the finish line, all mini and juniors are asked to collect their goodies including that all-important medal and a selection of goodies once they cross the finish line.
Participants will then be directed to the collection point by our team of friendly volunteers where they'll be able to meet up with their parents or guardians.
Where to meet
Once mini and juniors have collected their race number, they will need to head to the start line shortly before 09.30. Here they will be guided through a short warm-up by Leeds Active.
Warm Up
To help our participants feel ready and raring to go, Leeds Active will be delivering a warm-up on the start line at around 09:30.
Baggage
There isn’t a baggage store for this event so participants are asked to leave their bags and any extra clothes with family and friends.
Photos
Smile! The Marathon Photos team will be on course throughout the event to snap your picture.
Photographs can be purchased at marathonphotoslive.com. Should you not wish for your photo to be used in this way, please e-mail info@runforall.com prior to race day.
Left Clothing
Please note that any clothing left anywhere on the start line will be donated to charity.
Family support?
Please may all supporters head down to the start and finish line so that they can watch all participants fly by!
Keeping Leeds green
We are committed to keeping Leeds green and we understand the importance of doing our bit for the environment. Bins will be provided across the event site and we urge people to use the facilities provided.
Let’s work together to Keep Leeds green and encourage other runners to do the same.
