The Sheffield Mini and Junior Run is a great way to get active this year!
Please see below the distances on offer.

Mini | 1.7KM | Age between 3 & 8. All children must run with a parent or guardian. |
Junior | 2.4KM | Ages between 9 & 14 |
Open to runners of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, this popular local Mini and Junior run is a fantastic day out for all the family.
We encourage children of all backgrounds and abilities to take part in the Mini and Junior run, including those with disabilities and any other special considerations. Please get in touch so we can help you and them have the best experience.
All finishers will be rewarded with a goody bag and that all-important medal to show off to friends!

We have 100 free entries to give away to schools and registered community groups in Sheffield.
Entries will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so don’t miss your chance for your group to get involved. To secure your free entries, please fill out the below and send it to info@runforall.com

Mini and Juniors will be able to collect their race number from the race office over the weekend.
Location and opening times:
Event Village, Tudor Square
Saturday 12:00 - 16:00
Sunday open from 10:00
We recommend collecting race numbers on Saturday to avoid any potential queues on race day.
Warm Up
All runners are asked to assemble on the start line, located on Arundel Gate for a warm-up before they get going.
To help our participants feel ready and raring to go, we will be delivering a warm-up on the start line.
At the Start and Finish
Please note that the start and finish lines for both events is located on Arundel Gate.
The Junior race starts at 12:00, followed by the Mini race at 12:05.
Once crossing the finish line, all mini and juniors are asked to collect their goodies including that all-important medal and a selection of goodies.
Participants will then be directed to the collection point by our team of friendly volunteers where they'll be able to meet up with their parents or guardians
Photos
Smile! The Marathon Photos team will be on course throughout the event to snap your picture.
Photographs can be purchased at marathonphotoslive.com. Should you not wish for your photo to be used in this way, please e-mail info@runforall.com prior to race day.
Family support?
We're sure lots of fans are coming to support you! Please get them to head to the start/finish line so they can see you zoom past them and collect your finishers medal.
Baggage
There isn’t a baggage store for this event so participants are asked to leave their bags and any extra clothes with family and friends.
Left Clothing
Please note that any clothing left anywhere on the start line will be donated to charity.
We are committed to keeping Sheffield green and we understand the importance of doing our bit for the environment. Bins will be provided across the event site and we urge people to use the facilities provided.

If you are travelling to the City by car we would strongly suggest you consider using one of the 7 Park and Ride locations across the City which are open 24 hours 7 days a week.

Directions
From the north (M1)
M1 Southbound and take Junction 36 onto the A61 towards Sheffield City Centre.
From the south
Approach Sheffield from the South on the A61 and continue on the A61 towards the City Centre. Follow signs for the train station or alternatively head towards St Mary's Gate roundabout.
From the west
On the A57, head in an easterly direction towards the City Centre. Cross the A61 on to to Broad Lane.
From the east & north
Exit the M18 at junction 32 and briefly join the M1 towards Sheffield. Take the A630 and then the A57. Join the Inner City Ring Road (A61).
Please note the following car parks may not be available before and during the event: Q Park - Charles Street.
Please ensure your parking plans take account of road closures and access information.
With a number of services running across the City why not consider utilising the local bus service. There may be a minimal number of diversions in place due to the events road closures but buses will still be running throughout the day.
